Thanks to Craig for the post on Free Tech ...Linzie,
Thanks to Craig for the post on Free Tech For Teachers I found a link to a free online conference at http://k12onlineconference.org/ that started last week but runs for the next two weeks. The conference is using social networking through ning.com to get educators from around the world to participate. Some of the conference will be able to be viewed from itunes as well. I hope you find this helpful in your continuation of attending technology conferences. Let me know what you think.

Jean-MarieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5624090140579112796.post-59292284831882257162010-10-15T17:20:39.774-07:002010-10-15T17:20:39.774-07:00Linzie,

She would pick a student each day to enter that day's work for all to see.

Some other ideas you may want to try are some web 2.0 tools that I found on the site Cool Tools for Schools, http://cooltoolsforschools.wikispaces.com/. Although I have never used them, there are homework organizers for teachers and students and other tools that help with organization.

For your second goal, working toward a professional development, you may want to see the site Free Tech For Teachers, http://www.freetech4teachers.com/. The author of this site occasionally publishes PD opportunities that are free and online.

Hope you can use this info and good luck!

CraigMr. Dellemannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16369019456376636993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5624090140579112796.post-57097515145966689302010-10-14T18:44:22.419-07:002010-10-14T18:44:22.419-07:00Linzie,

I wholehearted agree that as a communication tool class web pages are an excellent way to connect parents to school. It is also a great way to model online integrity for students. Ironically, my son's teacher is also called Mrs. Humphries.

Juliejsorg1https://www.blogger.com/profile/09770609669533795092noreply@blogger.com
